I always share my SMA diagnosis with my doctors. I usually have to explain what it is and how I’m affected by it. I believe it’s important for them to know everything about me in order to understand my medical needs.

Maybe you can take a moment to explain your experience, mentioning any symptoms or challenges you've been facing lately. Be open and honest about things like muscle weakness, mobility issues, or respiratory concerns you've been dealing with.
I’ve Had Scoliosis With A Pelvic Tip As An Early Teenager, And Was Diagnosed With SMA 4 Only When I Complained Of Weakness In My 50s.
