Going to a hospital that is not equipped for a disabled person or understands what a person with SMA can't do on there own!! Had this experience recently!

Losing your independence is something nobody understands until it happens to them. I was able to participate in life, now I just watch. Unable to move without help If I don’t Hold on, I loose my balance and fall. I understand how you’re feeling, I’m there with you. Sending you big hugs and support. XOXO

My biggest challenge is walking.I can no longer take any steps unaided. I need to use a walker to feel safe and independent.

Working and still finding energy to keep doing the things that I feel make it worth it. Trying to balance working from 7am to 330pm and appointments and STILL finding energy for hobbies just keeps getting more and more difficult.
