Not sure if helpful but the sliding shower chair is what I've used for years, my bathroom allows them to put shower chair next to toilet (height adjustable) for easier transfer to shower chair then it slides under shower head. They sell them ebay/Amazon. Also they have with potty bowl.

Wheelchairs lack a very important feature found on scooters, the tiller. For transfers I use a belt strap and use the tiller as support when doing a slide transfer. I have not needed a hoist. When transferring back to scooter chair or bed for example we place a plastic bag to smooth the transition. I realize not everyone is capable to drive a scooter but the problem to solve is not having anything in front of us when transferring when using wheelchair.
