What advice do you have for someone newly diagnosed with SMA?
Make friends with people who has had it on places like this, because we most likely know what you are going through!
Try to find Drs. In your area that understand the problem at your level.

Hi My baby 11 months old and having type 1 SMA. I need guidance from someone who is already dealing with it about treatment.
Hi,my son(14) has SMA-LED. He is having Achilles Tendon lengthening surgery for toe walking. Anyone go thru this surgery? Was it successful?
How many individuals with SMA Type 2 are 65+ like me? Just curious.
