Dr. Saba completed his neurology residency at New York University, where he served as chief resident for education and received the Resident Award for Research in Speech and Language Disorders. After completing a neuromuscular fellowship at Montefiore/Einstein, he joined Northwell in 2016 as an assistant professor of neurology at the Zucker School of Medicine and director of the electrodiagnostic laboratory at Lenox Hill Hospital. He also serves as associate program director for the Neurology Residency Program at Staten Island University Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Saba received the Faculty Educator Award from the residents in 2023 and the A. B. Baker Teacher Recognition Award from the American Academy of Neurology in 2024. He is active in clinical research and patient outreach, with particular interests in myasthenia gravis, spinal muscular atrophy, and hereditary amyloidosis.
