I have SMA3
I’m 36 and was diagnosed at age 5. I just had my first baby almost 5 months ago. It’s tough. So worth it but I’m struggling during the day with him due to lack of strength and covid restrictions.

There have been several women with SMA that have had children.

I’m 44 & was diagnosed at 2 years old. I hav an 11 year old step son we raise full time (his biological mother left him at 8 months). I did have genetic testing at 24 with my first husband, but found out 2 years after that he could not produce children & I decided that God was sending me a sign. I’m very happy with how the situation turned out!

I was diagnosed at age 1 and I have a teenage daughter.

I was diagnosed at 20 years old. I decided to have children soon after. I have two grown sons.
